Moments before an aneurysm

The idea that we are so infinitely small that we pertain to a string theory so little that it belongs in the mental process of something greater.

Our universe in its greatest form is a matter of great energy. But we know that impulses of energy in the mind are happening all of the time. These impulses are simply energy being transferred.

Maybe god is the mind in which we live. He is our creator and greater than all of us. When we are inspired or receive "knowledge" from this greater form we may only see more of what it is and this know what we are.

In death we are separated from our understanding of what this world is. We still have our thoughts and our knowledge and if we can turn our thoughts inward we'd see that there is no understanding of size. The very molecules that make up this world may be universes of their own.

It is only in this knowledge that we become more like god and start to control our inner thoughts/worlds. However great we become we will never get to god's infiniteness. But we may become what he once was.

Ok this is getting way off course. This is my attempt to explain the atonement not as it really was but as it would have to be to go along with this theory. There are other clusters that attempt to destroy what we live in. God sends a savior, someone that through his suffering has gained such great strength and knowledge that in our defense it eliminates this destruction. None of us could bare such pains and stretchings of the minds we were given. But he being sent from god and not merely a product of original evolution was able to do it. His strength saves us and we are forever grateful for this.

Those who choose not to believe or be faithful to the way things are or our nature will never be given the strength to stretch and grow to the level of understanding necessary to progress. But the obedient will move forward and learn more.

Prophets are called and guided to lead us to temporal prosperity. The spiritual side is for us to do by ourselves. Yes they give us, as a whole but they cannot get us where we need to be at the same time. We all grow and stretch at different levels.

All through time you can see prophets working to see their people living in best conditions. They teach such principles that strengthen our individual faith in god. And have the power to promise such things as the Malachi promise. This makes sense because we see that if we were left on our own temporarily that someone would usurp authority and imprison us or we'd fight till death for freedoms and differences.

There is no time and no beginning or end. For existence isn't found in timelines but in size.

I am a very strong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And I feel I may be hassled for this but lets give it a go anyway.
The other day I went out with everyone from work. We went to a place called Kamikaze's and saw "The Naked Eyes" it is a sweet rock group. One of the waitresses is dating the keyboardist/guitarist and then the drummer is a cook at the restaurant. Since I dont drink and was their designated driver they let me in for free and gave me free drinks all night long. I liked that. But the atmosphere was something I really enjoyed. Everyone was totally supporting this local band as well as socializing with each other. I made friends with a rep for Solomon and talked a while with the lead singer of the band that played before them. And I realized that this is really non existent today for Mormon Folk.
In this day and age with Ipods, music, and busy schedules, I cannot find a place to meet and relax with people except in a bar or club, (and my dancing skills are enough to keep me out of clubs forever) Up at the University (Granted it is Weber State and not a very social school) you cannot even talk to someone between classes because EVERYONE walks from class to class with their headphones on. Lame!
So I have decided that I want to create a local, much like a bar, with fancy drinks (none of which are alcoholic) and music, (both live and dj'd) where 18 year olds and older can go and just hang out and meet people and have a good time. The best part is the name, I'm going to call it Mo-Fo's.

Why do I wish to be an Educator?

Why is it that I want to be a teacher? The real question is why wouldn’t I? Mahatma Gandhi once said, “We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” The world in which we live allows anyone to see the difference between the wise and the ignorant, I humbly profess that the quotation, “ignorance is bliss” could not be further from the truth. It is the learned that go on to achieve greatness. I’d love to be a small part in bringing wisdom to the future generations. We live in a world that is full of obtainable information and I’d delight in seeing the mind of a child be opened to enjoy the taking in of that knowledge. The interesting thing about my desire to be a teacher is that I am not passionate about any subject in particular. It isn’t the materials being taught that matter as much as the process of inspiring a mind to enjoy the greater world that is provided by way of knowledge. Plus teachers get some pretty sweet parking spaces.
Beyond inspiring minds I have always enjoyed my friendships that I’ve made with people of all ages. I sincerely feel that the bonds we create with others are more valuable than the riches or fame that is naively chased by a large portion of the general population. I made a goal very early on in my life to never burn a bridge. Nothing brings me a greater happiness than to run into someone from my past and to be excited not only to see them but to see that they are excited to see me as well. Yeah, I know that sounds arrogant or haughty but I value all relationships to a great extent and it excites me to know that in a few years I’ll be making more of these relationships than I ever have before.
Although I decided to become a teacher within the last year I have a few experiences that have really encouraged me to make this decision. My first experience was probably in ninth grade when I heard Scott Greenburg, a motivational speaker, say a few things that seemed to slap me upside the head and helped me realize my great potential as an individual. He left with me was an experience, as a student, that taught me the great power that comes from being effectively taught. Later in high school my math teacher, Mr. Kevin Chase, profoundly responded to a question proposed by a student. The student asked, “Why are we learning this? I will never use it.” He eloquently replied, “It is not teaching you to do this work as much as it is teaching your mind how to learn, stretch, and think in ways it hasn’t before done.” Hearing that nearly knocked me off of my chair. The math he taught was very important for the tests that year and for the other math classes that followed; but learning how to teach my mind to do new tricks and learn new information has been a lesson that aided in every other aspect of my life.
Since being inspired as a student I’ve had many other experiences teaching. At age 21 I started to substitute teach and found a hidden talent of charisma that I had. The students liked me and I liked the happiness I felt in their presence. I went on to teach in a religious setting for my church and was placed with the 12 year olds, everyone I told that to would cringe and say how sorry they were, they sympathized because they believed that age of kid was the most difficult to keep under control. I loved every one of those kids and looked forward to the time I had with them. I learned a great deal from them during that entire process. It was comparing my fantastic experiences with the false negative criticism of people I talked to that guided me to two realizations. One was that the position of a teacher isn’t for everyone. The other realization was that it made me realize that it was a position that was for me; the part I was born to play.
While I worked for Edge Products LLC we established a project that involved taking in the children of employees during the summer and giving them something to do while also earning them money. I was put in charge of all thirty kids and while managing them we built an incredible friendship, they would ask questions during the hours we had together and I was able to teach them profound lessons in life. They hung on my every word and looked up to me. That was incredibly flattering and made me genuinely smile from ear to ear. I can reflect on this experience when people mention the lack of income that teachers make; I see multi millionaires that aren’t as happy as I am when I am immersed in the well being of others.
To conclude, George Ramirez penned the line, “Blessed are the learners vs. the learned, for the learners will prosper and adapt and bring about good while the learned will find themselves tremendously educated in a world that no longer exists.” I truly want to be a part of teaching and inspiring the youth to enjoy education and become professional learners.

The Truth About Greed.

It is commonly known that in the bible it says that money is the root of all evil. Ohhh those greedy rich people. But, I will lay out for you some new ways of thinking that hopefully can persuade you to open your mind and think otherwise.

The truth of that scripture, as cleared up by many Bible scholars, is that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Now thinking about that, who is it that LOVES money. My mind always went back to the very wealthy people, with their ginormous houses and fancy shmancy cars. What do they do for a living? Do they work all the time and spend their entire lives behind a desk? Ever know a CEO who spends enormous time at the office? Not me, mine always took vacations, left early (many times while carrying golf clubs) So how do they get to where they are if they don't work that much? They are good at what they do, damn good! They are passionate about what is going on and they pursue it with all their mind and go at it like a cop on a hot case. It is their passion and they love what they do.

Here is my definition of greed. You only have more or less 30,000 days to live, there are people who spend 29,000 of them doing something they don't like from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. they slave away their life, come home upset at their family because they live a life they aren't fond of. They convince themselves that what they are doing is worth it because the vacation they get one week out of the year. In my personal opinion to spend any time doing something you hate in order to make a paycheck is greedy, you are selling yourself and your life for money.

Bottom line is this, do what you want to do do. The money will come later and "he who dies with the most stuff" still dies. Dont waste a day of your life chasing money. Be passionate!

(I can say this since I've decided to go into education and wont be making big bucks, but I'll be happy)
